Trusa HY – LITE (Merck - Germania ) se bazează pe fenomenul de bioluminescenţă.
Bioluminescenţa permite evaluarea indirectă a cantităţii de ATP în prezenţa unei enzime substrat specifice şi anume sistemul luciferină – luciferază.
Luciferina reacţionează cu ATP în prezenţa ionilor de Mg2+şi a luciferazei.
În urma reacţiei rezultă o emisie luminoasă proporţională cu concentraţia în ATP, care ulterior este transformată într-un curent electric şi amplificată.
Metoda este eficientă, recomandată pentru industria farmaceutică şi unele sectoare de industrie alimentară

HY-LiTE 2 hygiene The HY-LiTE 2 hygiene tracking system worksby detecting ATP (adenosine triphosphate), asubstance found in all living cells and in mostbiological material.
Unlike traditional microbi-ological methods, which detect the presence of bacteria and other micro-organisms, ATP detection also reveals the presence of residues,even on superficially sterilised surfaces, potentially capable of supporting microbial contamination.
A sample taken from the test area is mixed with enzyme reagent in the specially developed HY-LiTE Pen.
Any ATP present reacts with the enzyme and produces light. This is measured in the HY-LiTE 2 meter.
The more ATP present ,the brighter the light and the greater the read-ing. This indicates clearly the amount of micro-biological contamination, food residue oranimal debris in a crevice, on a surface, or ina rinse water sample. |
